Any person who adopts and uses a mark in Georgia may file an application for registration of the mark in the office of the Secretary of State. If the statutory requirements have been met, the Secretary of State will issue a certificate of registration. Our Web site provides access to the trademark text data from our internal trademark database. This information is updated daily. Our Web site also provides forms and instructions for the initial registration, renewal and assignment of trademarks. We encourage the use of the trademark database and welcome any comments you may have that might improve the usability of the site.
