Who We Are:

Gwinnett Legal Aid provides free legal assistance to low-income individuals with civil legal problems in Gwinnett County. We provide advice, referrals and representation in the following areas of law: family/juvenile, housing, consumer, public benefits, health, education.

For representation clients' household income must be within 150% of the federal poverty level. For advice and/or referral clients' household income must be within 175% of the federal poverty level.
Languages Spoken:  Korean, Spanish
Interpreters can be provided for: We use Language Line to serve non-English speaking clients.

  Your family's income should be at or below 150.0% of the poverty level.

Emergency Instructions
If your problem is an emergency as described below, follow the contact instructions for emergency cases. Most offices are open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
 
What is an emergency?  Emergencies are problems requiring immediate action to avoid bad consequences to the client, i.e. served with lawsuit, received notice of court or hearing date, received notice of denial or termination of public benefits, adverse court or administrative decision, received notice of garnishment or foreclosure, eviction and repossession.
