   Contact this group by following the instructions below
  The Office of the Public Defender was created by the Georgia Legislature in 2003. The office reports to the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council. The Office is responsible for providing zealous representation to indigent accused persons in criminal matters. If an individual cannot afford a lawyer in a criminal matter, the court will refer the individual to the Office of the Public Defender.

Income Guidelines: 
  Your family's income should be at or below 150.0% of the poverty level.
