| Who We Are: |
Catholic Social Services, Inc. in Athens was opened in 1985 in order to provide support and assistance to low-income families. With a special emphasis on the Hispanic population, Athens Community Outreach Center has developed a wide range of services and activities geared specifically to address the needs of this dynamic and rapidly growing community. Since opening its doors, Athens Community Outreach Center has served thousands of families in Northeast Georgia. Through various programs and services, Athens Community Outreach Center seeks to strengthen and empower low-income families by offering information and referral services, English as a Second Language, job readiness training and referrals, social advocacy, counseling, and through working cooperatively with other agencies in the community that can offer support to people in need. All services are available in English and Spanish.

Self-Help Materials
